Looking for a fun character dining restaurant? Check out Breakfast with Minnie & Friends at Plaza Inn! This breakfast is one of our favorite character dining experiences. The number and variety of characters is the best we've seen. You meet Minnie Mouse before you go in the restaurant and then afterwards several characters come by your table. The characters vary slightly each time you go so there's no guarantee that you'll meet a particular one except Minnie but it's usually a great mix and you even get to meet some you don't always see around the park like Max from Goofy Movie, Pinocchio, and Rafiki.
The food at the breakfast buffet is great as well. All the hot food is served by a cast member which is nice (usually buffet food can get a bit messy with everyone serving themselves), there is an omelette station, and of course Mickey waffles! We had a good meal and a wonderful time.
Plaza Inn is located at Disneyland not too far from the castle. They only have characters at breakfast so if you want to meet characters, make sure you go in the morning. It's popular so you need to make a reservation beforehand. If you're looking for a way to meet several characters and fill up those Disney autograph books without having to wait in line, this breakfast is an excellent option. You also get a lot of great pictures!
