The Great Movie Ride Movie List

 
Today was the last day for The Great Movie Ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Disney World.  The ride is inside the building that looks like Mann's Chinese Theater.  We've gone on the ride several times and enjoyed how it lets you dive into scenes from some great films.  We'll miss it but are happy that we can still be reminded of this ride whenever we watch those movies.  So we put together a list!  Here is a list of the movie scenes you see on the ride:

• Footlight Parade
• Singin' in the Rain
• Mary Poppins
• The Public Enemy
• A Fistful of Dollars/For a Few Dollars More/The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly
• The Searchers
• Alien
• Raiders of the Lost Ark
• Horror Movies (no single movie specified)
• Tarzan the Ape Man
• Casblanca
• Fantasia
• The Wizard of Oz

The final part of the ride is a short film that has more clips from movies.  However, the physical scenes in the ride are our favorites so we've only listed those and not the movies from the clip-show at the end.  Here are some photos of some of the scenes on the ride!
