Dapper Day at Disneyland 2018

This past April we went to spring Dapper Day at Disneyland.  We've gone every year for the past several years and it's been fun to see how much this event has grown.  For those not familiar with it, Dapper Day is a day at the parks where folks go to the parks dressed in their finest.  It is not an official Disney day but Disney does seem to recognize it in how they'll have certain photo props out that day and the Dapper Dans usually seem to be out more than usual.

This year we went in the afternoon since we had dinner reservations there that evening.  There was a Dapper Day Expo at the Disneyland Hotel but we decided to skip since you now have to purchase tickets to go in.  Instead we went to the parks and got some nice photos in our outfits there. 

We wore outfits inspired by Miss Bianca and Bernard from the Disney film The Rescuers.

We even had our Porg join in and had him dressed like Orville also from the Rescuers so he could match us.

We wandered around and took some photos trying to look dapper.   

It was really hot outside so we took a break and sat in the shade for a bit with some wine. 

After that we wandered around a bit more.  We were happy to spot some of our Instagram and Twitter friends and said hello.

Then it was time for us to head to Napa Rose for dinner.  We figured since we'd be all dressed up, we'd have dinner reservations somewhere fancy that day.  The food was delicious and we had a lovely time!
