Aggretsuko Den of Rage - Sanrio Japanese Village

Last week we visited Little Tokyo in Los Angeles to check out Aggretsuko's Den of Rage at the Sanrio Japanese Village store.

Aggretsuko is a Sanrio character who is an adorable red panda who works in an office.  She takes out her rage and frustration when she goes to karaoke and sings death metal.  Her show is now on Netflix and it's awesome- you should watch it.  You'll most likely find that you can totally relate to her!

We'd heard about Aggretsuko a while ago and used to watch whatever video clips we could find on YouTube.  We even got to meet her once - before the show was on Netflix.  Not as many people in the U.S. knew who she was at the time and we were so excited to meet her that I even dressed like her!

Because of her show being added to Netflix, the Sanrio Japanese Village shop was transformed into her Den of Rage for a limited time.  They had lots of Aggretsuko merch and on select days you could meet Aggretsuko!

We managed to go on the last day and were delighted to see that the rage/karaoke version of Aggretsuko was there.  She wasn't always there for Den of Rage but we got lucky that we arrived right on time to karaoke with her!

After we met her, we wandered around the store.  It was decorated with extra Aggretsuko decor.

They had cut-outs of her and her coworkers.

We were delighted to see that they had her cubicle in the store!

Even the entrance windows were Aggretsuko themed.

We also bought some Aggretsuko merchandise while we were there.  My favorite is my new shirt!

We had such a great time visiting Aggretsuko's Den of Rage and are so glad we went! Although Den of Rage is no longer in the shop, Sanrio Japanese Village is open year round so if you're looking for some adorable Sanrio merch in a store that is extra kawaii make sure you stop by!  We love going there whenever we are in Little Tokyo!
