Pixar Pier has opened at Disney California Adventure! Formerly Paradise Pier, this area of the park has been transformed to have a fun Pixar theme. We went on opening day and have been back several times since then. We thought we'd share a list of things you can check out at Pixar Pier! (Be sure to check out our video at the end of this post for a tour of the Pier!)
Photo Spots and Characters

If you are searching for the perfect photo backdrop for an Instagram photo during your visit, check out Pixar Pier for some fun photo spots and of course several Disney walls! Plus you never know what character you may spot while you're there too. Currently there's a location near the Incredicoaster where you can meet characters from The Incredibles even Edna Mode! Occasionally you'll see other Pixar characters around the pier as well. We saw Jessie from the Toy Story films. Porg was especially excited since he matched!

New Food Stands

Matterhorn Yeti meets Pixar Yeti |
One of our favorite things about the new rethemed pier are the food stand additions! Unfortunately the lines for these places can be pretty long but we do like that they added more food options to the park. There is Jack Jack Cookie Num Nums, Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats, Angry Dogs, and Poultry Palace (there's also Lamplight Lounge but more on that later!).
The Incredicoaster

Formerly California Screamin, the roller coaster now has a story to go with it featuring the characters from The Incredibles. We enjoyed it! There are Fastpasses available for this attraction so grab one in the morning so you can skip the longer line.
Lamplight Lounge

The Lamplight Lounge has two sections- the outdoor space that used to be the Cove Bar, and a downstairs restaurant space that used to be Ariel's Grotto. Upstairs you can choose from drinks and appetizers. If you were a fan of the Cove Bar's popular lobster nachos, you can still find this on the menu! Downstairs has a larger menu that includes some entrees. If dining downstairs, make sure you get the donuts- they were our favorite!
Knick's Knacks Shop & New Games!

The gift shop near the entrance to Pixar Pier is also rethemed both inside and out and is called Knick's Knacks. They have all sorts of Pixar merchandise. The Boardwalk games past Toy Story Mania have also been updated to fit the theme and they all have Pixar themed prizes!
Pixar Pal-A-Round
The Mickey Wheel is still at the Pier except it's now called the Pixar Pal-A-Round. The ride is the same with some new decorations on it- so if you're a fan of ferris wheels it's still there!
So those are some of the things to check out at Pixar Pier! Want a closer look? Check out these videos:
