On our most recent visit to Walt Disney World we dined at the brand new restaurant, Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood, at the new Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. This special rooftop restaurant has great views of Walt Disney World resort and offers a special Spanish inspired menu. We took lots of pictures and video! (Be sure to check out the video at the end of this post!)
We were excited to see both the new restaurant and the new tower! As we entered the tower, you could tell it had just opened- everything looked beautiful and it even smelled new. We loved the decor including this wall. If you look closely you might spot some hidden Mickeys!

We took the elevator to the top and saw there was Toledo on one side and the new lounge called Dahlia on the other. After we checked in, we were told we could go to Dahlia to wait for our table. We didn't wait long enough to order anything but did take a look around. The lounge is really nice and also has some great views! If you don't have time to eat at Toledo, Dahlia Lounge is a great alternative!

We were put at a table right next to the window which was wonderful because we could enjoy the view while we ate dinner. We could see the lake, hotel pool, and Expedition Everest in the Animal Kingdom.

The menu was split up into three sections, Tapas, Beverages, and Food.

Here's what we tried:
Traditional ‘Tortilla Española’ - Spanish Potato Omelet
jamón serrano, picholine olive relish

Hanger Steak crushed new potatoes, salsa verde, greens, charred peppers, yellow pepper

roasted potatoes, romesco, arugula, fennel, lemon

'The Toledo Tapas Bar'
A progressive dessert tasting with the flavors of Spanish coffee, crunchy chocolate, raspberry mousse, and lemon curd

We enjoyed all our food. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was great. We found out at the end of our meal that we were our waiter's very first table! He did a fantastic job! We really enjoyed our meal at Toledo and would happily go back.
